Installing
- Download the latest update from https://www.plugins4d.com/download
- Unzip the folder onto your computer. Do NOT place the folder in your Cinema 4D installation folder.
- Start Cinema 4D
- Open up the C4D Preferences from the Edit menu.
- Select 'Plugins' in the menu on the left of the preferences dialog.
- Press 'Add Folder' at the bottom. Select your folder you unzipped in (2). Make sure to include the actual folder itself, do not select a parent folder, select the exact folder that you unzipped. For example, if you have R21 on OSX then it will be named something like Plugins4D_R21_OSX.
- Restart Cinema 4D
- You will now see a Plugins 4D menu appear in C4D.
Plugin Bundle Licenses
- If you purchased a Bundle for Plugins 4D then you will have recieved a Gumroad Licence Key. Do not loose this key.
- To use this key open the Plugins4D->Plugins 4D Manager
- Enter your licence key into the 'Bundle Key' field.
- Press the Activate Bundle Key button.
- The plugin will then check the license to see if it is valid.
- If the licence is accepted then a dialog will appear telling you that you have a valid license. You will be asked to restart Cinema 4D.
- Restart C4D to use the plugins.

Patreon Plugin Licenses
- If you are a Patreon of Plugins 4D then will have recieved a patreon key. If you don't have a key yet then contact Plugins 4D using the Patreon Messages system.

Layouts for 4D Paint and 4D Publish

- For 4D Paint and 4D Publish you will also need to install the layouts. Copy everything from the 'layout' folder to either of the following locations
- Your Maxon Cinema 4D R20/library/layout folder.
- Or open Cinema 4D, Open the Preferences, Press the 'Open Preferences Folder' then place the layouts in the library/layout folder.
- Restart C4D and you will see the new layouts in the layouts drop down in C4D.
